Harvest Fresh lunch delivery service will deliver to schools on fog and snow days, barring extreme blizzard conditions that make a location inaccessible. Note that if school buses are not running, it does not mean we are not operating.
Parental Responsibility for Cancellations
If a school is open, some children may still attend. By law, the school is unable to provide us with attendance information. Therefore, it is the parent’s responsibility to cancel their child's lunch for the day, not the schools.
We accept cancellations up to 7 am by email only. We do not accept voice messages, as details can be missed and last names difficult to spell correctly. On a bus cancellation days, we extend this deadline to 7:30 am to assist parents.
To make this more efficient we ask you to include the child's full name and school on the email if you are cancelling.
By 7 am, we will post on social media (Facebook and Instagram) if we are not delivering lunches. Please follow us there for the quickest updates. We will also email all parents and school secretaries if we are not delivering. Please ensure our email address is on your safe sender list so that important updates don't land in your promotions or spam folder.
